Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of Evenzo. Please read them carefully before creating events, purchasing tickets, or otherwise using our platform.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Evenzo platform (the “Platform”) — including browsing events, registering as an attendee, purchasing a ticket, or creating an event as an organiser — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Use of Platform
You agree to use Evenzo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- ✕Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent event information.
- ✕Attempting to resell tickets at a premium without organiser authorisation.
- ✕Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access or extract platform data.
- ✕Impersonating another person, organiser, or Evenzo staff.
- ✕Interfering with platform security, authentication, or payment flows.
- ✕Using the platform for any illegal activity under Indian law.
Organiser Responsibilities
Event organisers (“Organisers”) who create events on Evenzo accept the following obligations:
- 1Provide accurate, up-to-date event information including date, venue, category details, and pricing.
- 2Ensure the event complies with all applicable central and state laws, including venue permits, public gathering regulations, and food safety norms.
- 3Honour the refund policy declared at the time of ticket creation. Changes to refund terms after ticket sales begin require reasonable prior notice to ticket holders.
- 4Maintain appropriate insurance and liability coverage for the event, its participants, and any third parties.
- 5Protect attendee data obtained through Evenzo and not use it for purposes beyond managing the specific event without attendees' consent.
- 6Settle all disputes with attendees in good faith and escalate to Evenzo only where necessary.
Attendee Responsibilities
Attendees purchasing or holding tickets through Evenzo agree to:
Provide accurate personal information during the registration checkout process.
Present a valid government-issued photo ID at the event venue if required by the organiser.
Comply with all event rules, codes of conduct, and venue policies set by the organiser.
Not share, duplicate, or transfer QR code passes without the organiser’s explicit permission.
Accept that certain events may have age restrictions, fitness requirements, or waivers that must be agreed to at the venue.
Payments & Fees
For paid ticket events, a platform convenience fee of 2% of the ticket price + ₹10 is charged to the attendee at checkout in addition to the base ticket price. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including event cancellation by the organiser.
All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay. Razorpay’s own payment gateway fees (typically 2% for cards/UPI) are borne by the organiser and deducted from the ticket revenue settled to the organiser’s bank account. Evenzo does not retain organiser revenue beyond the platform fee.
In the event of a payment failure or timeout, no amount is charged. Partial holds that may appear on your bank statement are released automatically within 3–5 business days by your bank.
The ₹10 + 2% platform fee is non-refundable even if the organiser cancels the event or issues a full refund for the base ticket price.
Intellectual Property
The Evenzo name, logo, brand marks, platform code, UI design, and all associated intellectual property are owned exclusively by Evenzo Inc. and protected under Indian and international copyright, trademark, and design laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Evenzo IP without prior written consent.
Event organisers retain all intellectual property rights in the event content they upload (banners, descriptions, photos). By uploading content to Evenzo, organisers grant Evenzo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of promoting the event on the Platform.
Limitation of Liability
Evenzo is a technology intermediary platform that connects event organisers with attendees. We do not organise, operate, or take responsibility for the events listed on the Platform. All liability for event delivery, safety, refunds, and quality rests solely with the respective organiser.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Evenzo Inc., its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: (a) your use or inability to use the Platform; (b) any event you attended or failed to attend; (c) payment disputes between attendees and organisers; (d) loss of data, revenue, or profits; or (e) platform downtime or technical failures. Our aggregate liability to any user shall not exceed the total platform fees paid by that user in the preceding 12 months.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Changes to These Terms
Evenzo reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where feasible, notify registered organisers via email. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
